Although the data base for all exports of live animal is centralised at DVS headquarters in Gaborone, for normal export requirements that appear on the data base (dogs, cats, horses, donkeys as well as some wild animals) the issue of export permits by DVS in this category is decentralised and can be issued at any veterinary district office where a state veterinary officer is available. |
