TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF SOME BORDER POSTS

The Ministry of Nationality Immigration and Gender Affairs informs the general public that five (5) border posts have been affected by the floods that have occurred across the country and as a result have been temporarily closed until further notice.

The situation at the affected border posts is as follows:

Border Posts

Situation

Mabolwe

Water level very high. The border is closed

Pont Drift

Travellers only using cable cars to cross

Phitshane Molopo

Water level high. The border is closed

Tshidilamolomo

Water level high. The border is closed

Bray

Water level high. Border is closed

 

The ministry therefore advices the public to use alternative border posts.

The ministry will continue to monitor and update the public on the situation.
